Sandgate Environmental Action - The Great British Beach Clean 2026
Every year we take part in the Marine Conservation Society's Great British Beach Clean where we both clean the beach and record all the rubbish. This data then gets sent off to the Marine Conservation Society along with all the data from beach cleans from all around the country. This year we will be having refreshments after in the Reading Room at The Old Fire Station so please come along and join us. We have six different sections of the beach to collect rubbish from and survey and you will be allocated a stretch of beach when we meet at 10.30
